Why do I care about everyone?

Sep 26, 2026•2 min

my opinion about life, you can agree or disagree because I know that everyone has different views.

We encounter people every day: we work with them, chat with them, laugh because of them, and feel sad because of them. We also meet people we don't know—strangers. I am one of those people; to some, I am an acquaintance, while to others, I am a complete stranger.

I tried to remember what I had done until now, I was confused about what to write, I just wanted to say that I met a lot of people, I know a lot of people, on the one hand I want to untie a rope that was already connected when I knew someone. because I realize that not everyone I know should be cared for, not everyone I know should be considered important, and not everyone I meet means something to me.

I'm starting to become more selective in life, because I feel like my life needs to be filtered.

Every time I meet someone, I start to take them into a place in my heart to cultivate them as a part of me. If they make the cut, they leave a lasting impression, and I care for them more deeply than others. Conversely, if they don't, I let them go—keeping the relationship at the level of mere acquaintance.

I care about people if they have become a part of me. But sometimes, I also need to let go of people who have become a part of me. When that happens it will be so hard to forget them because they were once a part of me.

I am a person who gets tired and runs out of energy easily, so I have become more selective so that my energy is not wasted and I can build more positive relationships.
